We are currently looking for a Contract Manager for Ariane 5 6 to support our customer in Germany. Contract Manager for Ariane 5 6 Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will have the following responsibilities Lead the sourcing process for the selection and procurement of subcontractors in direct negotiation, restricted or open competition Establishment of tender documentation RFPs, ITTs, draft contracts etc. Evaluation of subcontractor proposals Attendance of Tender Evaluation Boards Negotiation and finalization of subcontracts Release of ATPs LOLs Preliminary Order Letters etc. Contracts management and administration as well as Claims Management Progress and Status Reports as well as Contract Closeouts Change Request and Contract Change Management CR and CCN process Supervision of contracts compliance on quality, on time, on cost Implementation of key performance indicators using the relevant IT tools Perform and report Procurement Gates Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant field Profound experience of working in the procurement area International negotiation capabilities Experience in the political environment agency related business Knowledge of ESA Best Practices for the selection of subcontractors Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of FrenchGerman would be an asset This job is located in Bremen.
