In this frame, we are looking for talented professionals willing to develop their careers in space ecosystem. The current opportunity is part of CS SPACE strategy for the development of Control Ground Segment activities. We are looking for a product manager who will manage the implementation of a new European product for satellite AIT and mission control and who will define the technological roadmap of this product. Your responsibilities will include Driving software development team to deadlines and costs, identifying and removing nonproductive tasks and solving perceived blocking issues. Providing concise and accurate reports of progress and issues both to customer and CS management. Understanding product architecture and initiating technological evolutions and breakthroughs together with the technical team. Analyzing the compatibility of the product with new satellites and defining suitable solutions in close collaboration with in house experts. Managing the technological roadmap of the product in order to meet new requirements coming from sales team. Presenting and demonstrating the product to prospects. Promoting the product through international space conferences and workshops. Essential Qualifications Bachelors or higher degree in information technology or computer science or any relevant discipline. At least 3 years software development experience using Java programming language with eclipse, eclipse RCP4, JBOSS environment. Being familiar with modern software development environments and systems, including GUIbased MMIs, familiarity with object oriented analysis, design programming. Experience in a responsible software design role and working across the design, development and testing lifecycle. Experience of using open source technologies and tools. Knowhow of mission control systems with the telemetrytelecommand chain is an asset. You should also have strong analytical skills, be selfmotivated and able to tackle technical assignments and problem solving independently. You must have strong written and presentation skills, with excellent attention to detail. This opportunity based in Toulouse France or Darmstadt Germany, includes occasional international travel to client sites, especially within Europe. Working language is English. Knowledge of French language is highly desirable but not mandatory.
