NEMA 5-20 R outlet features Insulation Displacement Connections, which eliminate need for special tools and are designed to be used with 12 AWG solid copper conductors. During installation, line, neutral, and ground conductors feed through side of outlet, offering different options to mount receptacle. Applications include outlet strips, UPS, and industrial uses where AC power outlet is needed.
