Cops: Woman tried to shoplift $1K in meat, fish from Whole Foods

A Trumbull woman was charged last Wednesday evening after she allegedly took almost $1,000 worth of fish and meat from the Whole Foods Market, 350 Grasmere Ave. According to the report, she loaded up a shopping cart with $952 worth of expensive fish and meat, and then walked out of the store without paying for the items. She was stopped in the parking lot.
