Cotton Fiber & Yarn Price Comparison: China vs. India and Pakistan (Monthly Report)

Gross margins have fallen in Pakistan and in India in July, as spinners were unable to raise their price offers in line with the surge of their material costs. In China by contrast, prices have slightly dropped in yuan terns whereas sharply falling in dollar terms, due to the depreciation of of the renminbi. Our monthly report compares cotton fiber and yarn prices in China, India and Pakistan, offering a comprehensive view of the yarn/fiber spreads in the three countries. These gross margins of domestic spinners are displayed on a monthly basis with 10-year historical data available for download.
