Cotton fiber and yarn prices have moved into different directions in September, in China, India, and Pakistan. Chinese spinners are benefiting from lower cotton prices, whereas Indian rivals are struggling with lower yarn prices. In Pakistan, margins are also falling, however from record highs. Our report compares cotton fiber and yarn prices in China, India, and Pakistan, in the past months and in the month-to-date, offering a comprehensive and updated view of the yarn/fiber spreads in the three countries.
