Cotton yarn margins have slid further in India and China in the first part of July, as the cotton fiber prices were rising in China, and the cotton yarn prices were sliding further in India. In Pakistan by contrast, the domestic spinners are experiencing a rebound in their margins over the current textile recovery. Our report compares the cotton fiber and yarn prices in China, India, and Pakistan, in the past months and in the month-to-date, offering a comprehensive and updated view of the yarn/fiber spreads in the three countries.
