Although commodity prices are now plunging, cotton prices have remained relatively firm in the last days, over the anticipation of a larger fall in global production this season than earlier expected. Demand for cotton is currently surging from Bangladesh, Vietnam and even Pakistan, offering some strong support to prices on the international market. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
