Cotton prices have stayed very firm in the last week, whatever the sharp decline of commodity and stock markets. The fall of global production is currently supporting the New York cotton market whereas demand is increasing from a series of textile countries. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and the physical indicator "A Index".
