Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton prices have resisted any new decline in the past week and could stay firm at their relatively high levels. Demand from China remains strong and will continue rising whereas the recent surge of polyester prices could also support demand for cotton and therefore maintain cotton prices at high levels. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
