Cotton prices have declined significantly in the last week in New York, as US export sales were reaching historic lows. Demand from China has disappeared, as Washington and Beijing were busy shutting down consulates. In the meantime, India's state-owned CCI was selling large quantities from its huge reserves at discounted prices on domestic and export markets. Our weekly cotton report covers the futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index".
