Cotton prices have stayed firm in the past week, on the international market, being supported by new Chinese buying ahead of holidays and strong demand from Turkey and Pakistan. The textile recovery and heavy subsidization in India should continue to boost prices in the coming months. Our weekly cotton report covers the futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India, Pakistan, and Brazil are reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. Organic and BCI cotton prices in India and Pakistan are also released.
