Cotton spinning will rise for the second consecutive season in 2017-18, with Vietnam and Bangladesh rapidly emerging as major yarn producing countries. Cotton spinning will further climb in China whereas India and Pakistan will continue stagnating. Based on latest data supplied by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), our statistical report offers a comprehensive view of global cotton use in the ten years to next cotton season 2017-18 (August-July), with detailed data for each spinning country, including China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Bangladesh, Vietnam and Indonesia. All data are available for download.
