A Senate committee reviewing the takeover of east coast grain handler Graincorp has called on the competition watchdog to reconsider its findings, the ACCC earlier this year approved a takeover of Graincorp, by US commodities giant, Archer Daniels Midland, saying it wouldn't reduce competition, but a Senate report has found the opposite.
