County population increases, oil decline won't affect growth

CARLSBAD >> Eddy County was one of seven New Mexico counties to show an increase in population from 2013 to 2014, indicating that the oil and gas industry is still making an impact in the region. Meanwhile county and Carlsbad leaders are hopeful that Eddy County will not be hurt by any slowdown in oil production.
