County to hear permit request for a solar farm

The Robeson County Board of Commissioners on Monday will consider applications for conditional-use permits that would allow for the establishment of a solar farm and two-used car dealerships. Thigpen Owner LLC is requesting a permit so a solar farm can be established on 50 acres of a 60-acre tract in Maxton.
