Craft chili' cook finds carryout space near Grandview

He enjoys some locally -- such as the chili at J. Liu's in Worthington -- while some are just OK and others ... well ... they don't stick out in his memory or he'll pass on offering criticism. One thing's for sure, he says confidently, his chili can compete with, or top, the best in the U.S. Lasmanis and Charlane, his wife of 40 years, will open JC's Just Chili Friday, March 27, at 1617 W. Fifth Ave. It is a carryout-only operation that offers chili in 8-ounce, pint and quart sizes.
