The Cultrale Group and Safra Group slammed the revised merger agreement between Chiquita Brands International Inc. and Fyffes plc this morning, just a few hours after Chiquita and Fyffes revealed their updated merger plan . "The revised Chiquita Fyffes transaction values the combined entity at $11.82 per share, based on unaffected stock trading prices, which is well below the $13 all cash certain Cutrale-Safra proposal," the Brazilian companies said in a statement.
