Cummins Inc.'s 'Green Initiative' is Taking Root

The U.S. Department of Energy is recognizing the Cummins Inc. Jamestown engine plant as a showcase project for its Better Buildings Better Plants Challenge. According to the Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy website , 146 businesses and other entities have signed a voluntary pledge to reduce energy intensity by 25 percent over 10 years.
