DNR says work moving forward on wetland-enhancement project

The state Department of Natural Resources says work is expected to start after Dec. 1 at Cannon Creek Number 1 Flooding State Wildlife Management Area in Missaukee County's Norwich Township or will begin following snowmelt in the spring. A water-control structure that failed a state Department of Environmental Quality dam safety inspection in 2013 will be replaced.
