DT overhauls management team at T-Mobile Netherlands

2016-06-15 11:56:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) Deutsche Telekom announced a complete revamp of its management team at T-Mobile Netherlands. The news follows the presentation of the Dutch operator's 'Mobile First' strategy at the end of May, aimed at expanding in mobile broadband services in both the consumer and business markets with innovative offers inspired by the T-Mobile US' 'uncarrier' strategy. The new Dutch team will see its CEO named this summer, as the current CEO Mark Klein is leaving in September to join German insurer Ergo. Martin Knauer, from DT's low-cost brand Congstar in Germany, will take over the consumer activities in the Netherlands from Marco Kind. CFO Freddy Dijkman will be replaced on an interim basis by Robert Jelinek-Nacke, and Rachid El Hattachi replaces Lampros Iskos as CTO. Marieke Snoep, head of the enterprise activities, will be the only member of the Executive Committee, to remain on.
