Activist investor Bill Ackman will join Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd.'s chief Hunter Harrison on a conference call on Tuesday to discuss the company's takeover attempt of Norfolk Southern Corp. After a 22-year run, Salman Partners Inc. is getting out of the brokerage business. The Vancouver-based independent says it will cease operations as of February, 2016.
