Daimler expected to add 1,200 jobs at Mercedes van plant in North Charleston

Daimler AG is set to announce a major expansion of its North Charleston van plant that will bring at least 1,200 jobs to the region, The Post and Courier has learned. An announcement is being scheduled for Friday morning at Daimler's plant in Palmetto Commerce Park.
