Dealertrack Technologies to be sold for $4B

Lake Success-based Dealertrack Technologies is being bought by Atlanta-based Cox Automotive, a division of Cox Enterprises, for $4 billion. Dealertrack, which has about 500 employees on Long Island, was planning to build a new 233,000 square-foot headquarters in North Hills, and according to company spokesman Michael DeMeo, those plans haven't yet changed.
