According to Zacks, "Dean Foods posted better-than-expected second-quarter 2015 earnings, backed by improvement in the commodity market, lower raw milk costs and cost-productivity gains. However, failure to reduce prices despite lower raw milk costs resulted in a decline in volumes, which in turn led to disappointing top-line results.
