Dean Foods names beverage industry veteran as new chairman

Turner has been on the board of the Dallas-based dairy products company since 1997. He is the principal of JLT Beverages LP and owner and CEO of JLT Automotive Inc. Before that, he served as president and CEO of Dr Pepper/Seven Up Bottling Group from its founding in 1999 until he sold his interest in the company in June 2005.
