Denver-based Sabine Oil to cooperate with hedge funds in merger probe

Hedge funds that invested in Sabine Oil & Gas Corp. will have the bankrupt company's cooperation as they pursue potential lawsuits over its 2014 merger with Forest Oil. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Shelley Chapman said at a hearing Thursday in Manhattan that such cooperation would help avoid "litigation death by 1,000 cuts."
