Denver's Phil Washington to head up Metro

Phil Washington , who has guided Denver's mass transit agency since 2009, is leaving to head up the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority , the Denver Business Journal has confirmed. According to a report early Wednesday by news website LA Observed , Washington will be introduced Thursday by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti as the new head of Metro.
