A driver who Yavapai County Sheriff's deputies said was intoxicated led them on a chase on Highway 169, through residential areas, and then onto Highway 69, at one point driving on the wrong side of the highway, before he was apprehended, on Wednesday, July 1, a YCSO spokesman said. Deputies began to search for Carlos Nieto, 34, of Page, after dispatchers received calls around 8:45 p.m. about a man filling his Range Rover at the Chevron station off Highway 69 in Humboldt, YCSO spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn said.
