Despite being one of the strongest markets in U.S., D-FW new-car sales growth is dropping

The Dallas-Fort Worth area remains one of the strongest new-car markets in the U.S., but sales growth is slowing as consumers increasingly take longer loans -- making it more difficult for them to trade -- and the national economy continues to look uncertain. In addition, sales here have been growing for five straight years, despite the fact that new-car prices get higher each year.
