(Telecompaper) Deutsche Telekom launched the Open Telekom Cloud on 14 March, a public cloud combining flexible IT resources with service and German data protection regulations. Partner Huawei is supplying the hardware and solution expertise, with Telekom subsidiary T-Systems providing the data centre, network, and cloud operation and management. The first partner for the Open Telekom Cloud is SAP. Deutsche Telekom aims to double its revenue from cloud-based services for business customers by end-2018.
