(Telecompaper) Deutsche Telekom's European units have missed their sales and profit targets for the first two months of 2013, according to internal documents seen by 'Wirtchaftswoche'. According to the monthly reports, sales from its European subsidiaries are EUR 48 million below target, with operating profit missing targets by EUR 37 million. The European business generated sales of EUR 2.2 billion in January and February, down by 6.7 percent year-on-year. This fall is higher than the around 5 percent decline previously forecast by Claudia Nemat, board member responsible for Europe. Operating profit was EUR 707 million for the two months, compared to EUR 777 million generated a year earlier and EUR 743 million projected.
