A new grocery store would provide a spark to the North Tryon corridor, but the economics of such a deal are difficult, says Todd Williams, an executive vice president with Grubb Properties. The developers behind the SkyHouse Uptown apartment tower are working to bring a grocery store to the same block, a potential development that could provide a spark to the north end of uptown Charlotte.
