We are currently looking for a Development Engineer for spacequalified electronics to support our customer in Germany. Development Engineer for spacequalified electronics Key Tasks and Responsibilities As Development Engineer for spacequalified electronics for our customer who develops communication solutions to establish dynamic communication networks in air and in space, you will have the following responsibilities Development of spacequalified electronics especially in the field of high frequency electronics memory, interfaces, coding modules, computer FPGA systems as well as sensoractuatordriver and analog electronics Procurement of EEE components, qualification of COTS components, contact to manufacturers and suppliers of spacequalified components Development of alternative electronic designs especially for cost reduction Support of system electronics over the entire life cycle. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Masters degree physics, electrical engineering or comparable Several years of professional experience in spacequalified electronics development Experience in developing FPGA systems both hardware and software Profound knowledge of ECAD Tools ideally Altium Designer Experience with EEE components procurement, qualification, quality management, taking costs into account Detailed understanding of ECSS or similar standards and appropriate test and verification procedures Experience with standard tools models e.g. CREME96, Geant4, etc. Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage.
