Using advanced wavefront sensing technology, iDesign Dx measures and maps eyes with visual irregularities. System can capture shape of cornea, its curvature/power, ocular wavefront, refraction, and pupil diameter under different light conditions – all with one 3-second scan of eye. Obtaining these measurements enables ophthalmologists to screen patients to determine if they are eligible for LASIK or other refractive surgery and to assist in diagnosis of other conditions.
