With Z1814/... Distance Ring, position of heel blocks on Z1812/... and Z1813/... mold slide units can be aligned without need to dismantle slide unit. Hardened distance ring is ground to corresponding dimensions and can then be used for individual height adjustment of slide unit, as well as for offsetting production tolerances and aligning replacement parts.
