Door-closure retention cam contributes to safety and reduction of nuisance stoppages, while lack of open or exposed contacts minimizes possibility of owners making manual adjustments. Compliant with ASME A17.1/18.1 and cULus, switch includes manual override and is suited for commercial swing-door elevators, dumbwaiters, and platform/vertical lifts.
