Eliminating need for lined concrete containment, IMT 8850 features primary inner tank and secondary locked-on outer tank. Latter contains over 110% of primary tank's capacity, eliminating chance of liquid/chemical spills. Along with 24 in. hinged manway opening, features include heavier-top sidewall and dome that prevents dome collapse. While linear polyethylene tanks are certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61, high-density crosslink resin tanks are certified by NSF for chemical storage.
