DoubleVerify neutralizes SmokeScreen CTV fraud scheme

August 12, 2021 DoubleVerify (DV) [NYSE: DV] has identified a CTV advertising fraud scheme, dubbed 'SmokeScreen', which caused screensavers to hijack CTV devices to generate impressions even when the screen is off.
