White, Ph.D., received ASTM International Lou Toporcer Hall of Fame Award for distinguished service to Committee C24 on Building Seals and Sealants as well as contributions to development of building industry standards. ASTM since 2002, White specializes in rheology and service life prediction of polymer physics and is acting group leader of Polymeric Materials Group, Materials and Structural Systems Division of Engineering Laboratory at NIST in Gaithersburg, MD.
