Mikhail Sokolov, Ph.D., senior research staff member at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Materials Science and Technology Division, Oak Ridge, TN, received Award of Merit and honorary title of fellow from ASTM International. Sokolov was honored for contributions to successful symposia for Committee E10 on Nuclear Technology and Applications as well as his work on transition range fracture toughness standards for Committee E08 on Fatigue and Fracture.
