Australian Broadcasting Corporation: Sea levels could rise a metre by the end of the century, according to the latest report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The ABC has obtained a final draft of the report ahead of its official release next Friday. While average land and sea temperatures will continue to rise, it shows the planet is heating at a slower rate. The IPCC predicts anything more than 4 degrees Celsius is unlikely this century.
