By combining drilling and pinning in one system, Model DP eliminates requirement for manufacturers to maintain tight tolerances and precision drill individual components to ensure that holes are to correct size and properly aligned in multi-component pinned assembly. Self-contained vertical system consists of automatic high-precision drilling unit, SPIROL Model CR Pin Insertion Machine, and air-powered linear slide unit to move assembly between drill unit and installation station.
