Duke Energy: Milestone reached in sale process

Duke Energy said Monday that the Justice Department and Federal Trade Commission have granted early termination of the waiting period tied to the $2.8 billion sale of its non-regulated Midwest commercial generation business to Dynegy Inc. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2015's first quarter. It still needs approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
