Duke Energy spokesman Greg Efthimiou has been elected to PRWeek 's "40 Under 40" for 2014 based largely on his work in employee communications after the tempestuous conclusion to the Charlotte-based utility's $13.6 purchase of Progress Energy Inc. The merger had worked its way tortuously through regulatory approvals for 18 months.
