This research brief is an update of an earlier brief (graph based) on the development of mobile promotions by retailers in the Netherlands for the quarter periods Q2 2011 to Q4 2012. Information is based on findings from Telecompaper's Mobile Promotions Database, which tracks active promotions of mobile services on a weekly basis. Main findings: With the dissapearance of t for telecom as a retail chain, the combined share of the three largest retailers (Phone House, BelCompany, Telecombinatie) has remained stable at 45 percent of all promotions in Q4 2012 compared to same period last year. Independent retailer Phone House remains the largest and has a stable share of 29 percent.
