E.U. Clothing Imports: Latest and Long-Term Trends (Monthly Report)
2017-08-22 09:00:00| EmergingTextiles.com
EU clothing imports have been depressed in June, confirming the downward trend of the first half. The continuous decline of the euro from a year earlier has no helped whereas low-income countries have not been able to further cut their prices. The current rebound of the euro could rapidly reverse importing trends, however. Our report covers monthly EU clothing import data, with historical trends being analyzed, and a specific focus on China vs Rest of World (RoW) and Bangladesh, and on knit vs woven clothing. Data are supplied in euro and in US dollars with historical data available for download, back to January 2000.
