E.U. Clothing Imports: Latest and Long-Term Trends (Monthly Report)
2019-01-23 19:26:18| EmergingTextiles.com
EU's clothing imports have slowed down in November, although still rising, according to latest available data from Eurostat. China has continued losing shares of the market whereas Bangladesh has remained very strong. The fall of the euro from a year earlier has resulted in a slight decline of US$ export prices, for the first time in more than two years. Our report covers monthly EU clothing import data, with historical trends being analyzed, and a specific focus on China vs Rest of World (RoW) and Bangladesh, and on knit vs woven clothing. Data are supplied in euro and in US dollars with historical data available for download, back to January 2000.
