The only one of Britain's big domestic energy suppliers not to have cut prices in recent weeks is to hold talks with the Government on Tuesday amid continuing pressure on the industry to pass on the full benefits of falling wholesale costs to consumers. Sky News understands that EDF Energy is expected to meet with Matthew Hancock, the Business and Energy Minister, one of six meetings he is due to have with industry executives during the next three days.
