For one of our clients we are currently recruiting EGSE Operation Responsibles,who will take care of the EGSE used in the MAIT phase for the 22 satellites Galileo project. The position will be based either in the European Test Centre on the ESAESTEC premises in Noordwijk, the Netherlands or on the Bremen, Germany location. Frequent travel between the locations is involved, as well as travel to Kourou during launch campaign. Tasks and Responsibilities Registration of EGSE and material configuration, delivered items Participation in EGSE verification process, preparation of acceptance procedures Preparation of EGSE Maintenance Plan and spare philosophy Support of milestone reviews Manage any technical problems related to EGSE Preparation, configuration and scheduling the EGSE for use during testing Tickle script development EGSE transport preparation for external use environmental testing, launch campaign Maintain EGSE aspects of AIT database Interface to the supplier Maintenance of EGSE, including upgrades and evolution. Experience and Education A degree in electrical engineering, aerospace technology, physics or comparable qualification At least some years of experience in satellite AIT or EGSE use Knowledge of ECSS standards for testing and verification of software and hardware Knowledge about Spacecraft Central Checkout Systems CCS, preferably running under SCOS 2000 Version 3.1 TOPE Experience in EGSE validation High motivation and commitment to the project Used to tough project targets and challenges Welldeveloped communication skills and handson mentality Excellent conceptual and analytical skills Fluency in spoken and written English.
